Co-funded by the VRN and Leicester City Council, the Early Intervention Service is delivered by Prevention Officers who provide a 12-week tailored programme for young people who receive a community resolution or are at risk of offending. It seeks to prevent offending through improving well-being, offering emotional support and increasing engagement in positive activities such as education, training and employment. The service takes a whole family approach, working with family members and linking in with other relevant services across the City.
