Specialist Providers: Sports and Physical Activity
In recognition of the important role that sports and physical activity can play in diverting young people and adults from violence, the VRN have commissioned a specialist service to facilitate access to these opportunities.

This service is for under 25 year olds and is closely aligned to our other interventions and referral is usually through these partners. Participants are asked about their interests by an advisor who will also provide advice and facilitate swift and concrete opportunities. This includes a range of different activities including taster sessions, enrolment in local clubs and access to leisure centres and gyms.

Referrals for this specialist intervention come through The Phoenix Programme, the VIP Programme and The Reach Programme. current delivery partner is Leicester City in the Community
